We believe your data belongs to you. Space Cadet is built from the ground up to respect your privacy.
1. The Space Cadet Application
No Personal Data Collection: The Space Cadet application does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, browsing history, Space Cadet usage history, or user data. All application data remains local to your device.
Platform Telemetry: Like most Mac apps, Space Cadet relies on standard Apple platform capabilities to improve stability. If you have opted-in to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple securely shares anonymous crash logs and basic, aggregated usage statistics with us. We cannot identify you from this data.
System Permissions: Space Cadet requires Accessibility permission under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility. This permission is used exclusively to manage your Workspaces and Desktops. It operates entirely locally and never monitors keystrokes or background activity.
2. The Support Website & Contact Form
Information You Provide: Our support website includes a contact form to help you with questions or feedback. To use it, you must provide your email address and your message.
How We Use It: We use this information strictly to respond to your inquiry. We do not use your email address for marketing, newsletters, or profiling.
Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information. Third-party services are used solely as web hosting and email delivery infrastructure to transmit your support form submission directly to us. Your communication is treated as strictly confidential.
Data Retention: We retain email communications sent through our support form only as long as necessary to address your requests, and for up to 12 months to maintain support history. Afterward, support messages and contact information are permanently deleted.
3. Your Rights & Contact
Because we do not store your app data on external servers, we maintain no user databases to search, modify, or delete. However, if you have contacted us via our support form or email and wish for us to delete our past correspondence, please submit a request through our support site, and we will purge your records immediately.
